In a series of big deals at the beginning of period 7:

Derek trades Dallas Braden, Russell Branyan, Frank Francisco and Nick Punto to Chad for Scott Moore, Max Scherzer, Miguel Tejada and Omar Vizquel.

Gimps trade Coco Crisp, Franklin Gutierrez and Daniel Hudson to Derek for David DeJesus, Adam Lind and Scott Moore.

Andrew trades Justin Masterson and Carlos Pena to Derek for Jake Fox and Colby Lewis.
